The Department of Contemporary Culture of the Deputy Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Cyprus announces an open call for applications for the Main Film Funding Programme, for the categories of Screenwriting and Production Plan Development.
Applications shall be submitted online via the platform between 1st July 2025 and 30th September 2025, at 14:00.
Filmmakers, producers and production companies are invited to create their own account on the platform, through which they may apply for funding.
The Regulation of the Programmes and all relevant forms are available on the Department’s website and on the Cinema Office’s website.
The Department also announces that on Wednesday 9 July 2025, at 10.00, officers of the Cinema Office will offer a presentation of the platform and respond to questions regarding the application process.
The presentation will be held on the ground floor of the Deputy Ministry of Culture. Interested producers and directors are requested to register their participation in the above presentation no later than Monday 7 July 2025 via email to cinema@culture.gov.cy.

Kültür Müsteşarlığı Çağdaş Kültür Dairesi, 1 Temmuz'dan 30 Eylül 2025 saat 14:00’a kadar Sinema Filmlerine Destek Amaçlı Finansman Programları'na Senaryo Yazımı ve Prodüksiyon Planı Geliştirme kategorileri için katılım başvuruları kabul edeceğini duyurmaktadır.
Başvurular, https://www.grants4arts.cy/cinema platformu üzerinden elektronik olarak yapılacaktır.
İlgilenen yönetmenler, yapımcılar ve yapım şirketleri, platformda kendi hesaplarını oluşturarak Sinema Bölümü Programları'ndan finansman talep edebilirler.
Programların Şartları ve Kuralları ve ilgili belgeler, Dairenin www.culture.gov.cy web sitesinde ve Sinema Ofisi'nin https://cyprucinemaoffice.cy web sitesinde mevcuttur.
Ayrıca, 9 Temmuz 2025 Çarşamba günü saat 10.00'da Kültür Bakanlığı'nın zemin katında platformun tanıtımı yapılacak ve başvuru süreciyle ilgili sorular cevaplanacaktır.
İlgilenen yapımcılar ve yönetmenler, en geç 7 Temmuz Pazartesi gününe kadar cinema@culture.gov.cy yoluyla e-posta göndererek söz konusu sunuma katılımlarını bildirmeleri rica olunur.
